Dog Collars - Luxury Pet Accessories Or a Must Have?

3
There is an accessory you need to have with your dog clothing. Now in most places there is a law that says you have to have your dog on a leash when you take him out for a walk. I can't tell you how many times I've been out with my Chihuahuas and someone will come along with two Labradors or Doberman Pinschers or some gigantic breed of dog that isn't on a leash. The big dog will run over to my Chihuahuas and scare them to death. So, not only is it illegal, it's inconsiderate and very frustrating. However, collars and leashes are not only helpful for big dogs, their needed for small dogs, too. I keep my little canines leashed even though they're tiny for their own safety. I don't want to have them dashing into the road. I especially don't want them running over to any other dogs and starting a fight or getting into trouble. So for their own good I make sure they're always on a leash. All dog owners should do the same to ensure the safety of their dogs and of everyone around them.

Since you have to get a collar or harness anyway, you might as well get one that looks good on them. Just because it's necessary doesn't mean it can't look good. As a matter of fact, a nice collar or harness can be the best looking accessory on them, so long as you get one that matches their personality. There are a lot of different kinds of collars available. If you have more of a high end dog that likes to look fancy and you like to dress her up, there are leather collars, croc skin collars and even rhinestone collars for those who really want to get chic. If you have more of a tough guy or tough girl with an attitude that gives a bigger bite than bark, it's fun to get a spiked collar. The little metal spikes coming out creates the perfect rough dog look. You don't have to be a bulldog or a giant dog to pull that off.

As a matter of fact, the hot look this season is to see a little Chihuahua or Yorkie with a spiked collar on. It's very cute, I love it. If you want more of laid back, simple look there are some simple cotton collars available, and there's also a Sherpa collar. Sherpa collars are nice because they have faux lambskin lining the inside, which makes it very comfortable and useful for an extended period of time.
