    Goshen College

    • Goshen College offers three sections within their international education program; the first area is the Study-Service Term (SST) which is the general education requirement. The second area within this program is a minor in international studies and the third option involves educational opportunities that are offered overseas. With the SST option, students choose one language they would like to focus on and are put into a location with that region for one term; during the first six weeks, students learn the culture and language of the host community or country. Some location choices include Peru, Jamaica, Egypt, China and Senegal. With the minor in international studies area, this is available for those who have completed the SST option and students will take courses such as Asian thought and religion in culture and society. The final area is an option to study abroad in countries such as England, France, Ireland, Germany, Italy and Spain.
